This month we’re celebrating two long-time Major team members who are retiring – Steve Halambeck and Fred Reissmann!
Steve has been a key part of our Plant Maintenance department for 16 years, helping to keep everything up and running and assisting with various other tasks including machine operation and product assembly (plus many other duties!). Among the numerous things we’ll miss (besides his skill with a variety of hand tools) are his readiness to always lend a hand, and his ability to bring a positive attitude and a smile to the shop floor.
Fred has worked with the engineering/drafting team for more than 23 years, most recently heading up New Product Development. He has seen numerous advancements and changes during his tenure, and managed to navigate through them all – while still managing to keep his sense of humor and good-natured personality. His product and technical knowledge will be sorely missed around the office.
We’d like to thank both Steve and Fred for their willingness to devote their time and energy to help grow Major Industries and keep it running smoothly. We’re excited for both of them as they start a new chapter, and we wish them the best in future endeavors!
