DAYLIGHTING USING SKYLIGHTS AND TRANSLUCENT WALL SYSTEMS:
Available through AEC Daily. This course is both AIA and USGBC approved and also meets AIA Health, Safety and Welfare (HSW) requirements. The program includes discussions on the basics of daylighting, glazing options, daylighting methods, creative design, and the environmental benefits of daylighting system. The program also provides certified credit opportunities for a number of other organizations both in the United States and Canada and contains sustainable design information.
DESIGNING WITH TRANSLUCENT PANEL DAYLIGHTING SYSTEMS:
Available through The Continuing Architect. This course is approved for AIA-CES credit and also meets AIA Health, Safety and Welfare (HSW) requirements. The program contains information about translucent panel daylighting systems and explores the health benefits of natural light, its impact on energy reduction, and common myths associated with daylighting. Upon completion attendees will have a better understanding of the features and benefits of Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP) daylighting systems as well as load capabilities and code requirements for such systems.
