I am responsible for the day-to-day business operations of Major Industries. Some of my duties include oversight of the Operations, Human Resources, Accounting, and Information Systems Departments. When not spending time with my wife and four children, I like spending time outdoors, and especially enjoy hunting and fishing.
As Director of Sales I lead a diverse and talented team of inside sales personnel, outside sales associates and independent rep agencies. When not living on the road, I spend a lot of time in the office – and enjoy spending any free time I can find with my family.
As Inside Sales Manager, I’m involved with project management, overseeing estimating, assisting architects with technical questions and product options, and working directly with outside reps and salespeople. I enjoy spending my free time with family, as well as camping, boating, biking, and sports.
The Compliance Manager is Major’s inside voice for all outside customers and nationwide installers. This broad brush title requires attention to installer training and post shipment issues, federal and state safety and environmental regulations, product testing, new product development, daylighting performance and conformance, and product line testing to nationally recognized code requirements and testing procedures. When immediate attention is required, I jokingly tell people to ask for ext. 311 because “911” is taken.
As Plant Manager I oversee all aspects of manufacturing including purchasing, shipping/receiving, quality, maintenance, production, and scheduling. I enjoy spending free time with my wife and two girls, as well as playing golf, spending time at the cottage, hunting and being an avid Wisconsin sports fan.
In my role as New Product Development Manager, I evaluate and improve current components and systems as well as develop designs for new fenestration products. Outside of work, I am head Deacon at Wausau Alliance Church, and enjoy gardening, camping, and biking.
As Accounting Manager, I am responsible for accounting, auditing, budgeting, credit management, job costing, and financial reporting. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys, golfing, playing darts, reading, working on home-improvement projects, and fanatically following virtually all major Wisconsin sporting teams.
As the Operations Supervisor I am responsible for all aspects of Human Resource administration. I also work with the Sales, Accounting and Production departments to coordinate the order process from order entry to invoicing. In my free-time I am a part-time “taxi driver” for my two boys ages 12 and 7, making sure they arrive at their various extra-curricular activities on time.
As Marketing Director, I’m involved with all aspects of product positioning, print brochures, advertisements, press releases, websites, social media, trade show planning and more. When not glued to my computer, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, exploring northern Wisconsin, attempting to play musical instruments, and working at putting my Art background to use through photography and painting.
