Retail businesses are always looking for an edge – that special something that will attract more visitors. One simple and economical way to create a unique look is to utilize Guardian 275® translucent panels. Their translucent properties allow natural light to penetrate interior spaces, while also allowing interior light to illuminate the panels during evening hours.
The Jim Kryshak Jewelers building is one example of this creative use. According to Ghidorzi Construction of Wausau, Wisconsin, the reason Major’s Guard-Tite™ panels were chosen for the job was simple. “We wanted a product that would look good during the day but become a lighted mini-tower at night. We added signage to the face of the translucent panels which are naturally back-lit at night.”
The result is a unique and inviting look that catches the eyes of passers-by. It also brings a jewel-like look to the outside of the structure, echoing the merchandise inside. This effect can even be taken one step further by changing the color of the light source, or by choosing a different panel color. The versatility of Guardian 275® panels is limited only by your imagination!
